Ashleigh Maloney is the embodiment of determination and “sticktoitiveness.” As a student at Live Oaks Career Campus, she excels both academically and in her Auto Collision Repair and Refinishing Lab. Ashleigh has scored at the accelerated or advanced level in all the Ohio End of Course assessments while earning a perfect 4.0 grade point average.
All of this is on top of helping to care for her siblings and honing her craft for 30 hours a week as a technician’s apprentice at an area autobody shop.
Ashleigh exhibits leadership skills and service at school and in her community where she gives of her time and talent. She is an integral member of the Student Council and serves as president of the National Technical Honor Society. Even with her personal and professional responsibilities, Ashleigh shows up to school exuding positivity and is ready to work. She maintains the drive to achieve the lofty goals she has set for herself and always has those goals in mind when she puts in the extra work and time to achieve them. Ashleigh uses any challenges to fuel her motivation and is on trajectory for continued success.
