Our Work

What We Do

The Ohio Association of Career-Technical Superintendents (OACTS) fosters collaboration among Ohio’s Career Center and Joint Vocational School Superintendents to share best practices and to advance career-technical education in Ohio.

As part of our work OACTS regularly communicates and advocates with legislators and policymakers throughout Ohio to create an environment in our state which promotes the growth and quality of Ohio’s career centers.

Our organization builds on partnerships with many different education entities, businesses, and governmental agencies to foster an understanding of how career-technical and adult education impacts the lives of students and contributes to the workforce of Ohio by supplying skilled workers to help grow Ohio’s economy.
